| Jazz Class For Seniors Scott Davis' Personal History of
Jazz Senior College of Greater Des Moines Class Description: Noted Des Moines performer and educator Scott Davis will present his personal history of Jazz from the earliest days in New Orleans to music of today. The rise and fall of the big bands and jazz as popular music will be illustrated with archival film footage. Of course there will be a lot of listening and talk about music. Davis will introduce students to the local jazz scene and make connections with the 2008 Jazz in July concerts.
