The Scott Davis Jazz Quartet was formed in 2002 to promote the release of the CD, Scott Davis Almost Time. The CD features a number of originals and the group covers artists as diverse as Burt Bacharach, Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter. The group has been a part of the music offerings at the Cosmopolitan Lounge at the Suites at 800 Locust and has also participated in the annual Des Moines Jazz in July Series. In addition, the group has been featured on WOI Radios Live music show Third Thursday with Curt Snook.

Scott Davis – Trumpet and Flugelhorn

Scott is a Des Moines native and graduate of the Univeristy of Northern Iowa. Scott has a Masters from Drake Univesity and has played with a number of bands in the Des Moines area including FreeStyle and Fat Tuesday and the Greasefire Horns. Scott teaches middle school band in Des Moines.

Bob is originally from Ankeny. Bob has played with a number of bands in the Des Moines area including the Cavaliers and Mr. Moto. He works in corrections for Polk County.
